Beyondly ‘Highly Commended’ for CSR & Corporate Sustainability: Business Culture Awards 2025
On Wednesday 26 November 2025, Beyondly attended the Business Culture Awards at the DeVere Grand Connaught Rooms in London. The awards were established in 2016 and recognise and celebrate forward-thinking organisations dedicated to building exceptional business culture. We’re incredibly proud to announce that we have been awarded a ‘Highly Commended’ certificate in the Best CSR/Corporate Sustainability Initiative category for 2025.

CSR/Corporate Sustainability
Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability, and a focus on Social and/or Environmental concerns and impact, has the power to capture the hearts and minds of employees and other stakeholders, by giving even greater meaning and purpose to their efforts.
To enter the Best CSR/Corporate Sustainability Initiative category for 2025, we were required to present a key business challenge, outlining what needed to be achieved and why. We also needed to demonstrate how our project addressed this challenge and the outcomes it delivered.
Addressing the challenge with the Fund for Change programme
Beyondly (formerly Comply Direct) began the journey to becoming B Corp accredited in late 2021, and through this process began to really question: Why do we exist beyond profit? As we knew the climate emergency was very real for all Beyondly stakeholders, and with ongoing cost of living increases continuing to drive social inequality, we wanted to create a renewed organisational purpose that would anchor the leadership, clarify priorities, drive positive change, and educate and inspire all stakeholders to be a force for good.
Once our new purpose ‘to lead, inspire, and educate to positively impact society and the environment’ was agreed, a key business decision was made for Beyondly to create something significant that specifically addressed environmental and social issues positively, that could:
- be embedded within our business,
- be part of our culture,
- involve the Beyondly team,
- be governed effectively, and
- successfully engage and support our local community and beyond.
We had a strong desire to create a successful and effective grant-giving scheme that could be measured and be impactful. As a result, the Beyondly Fund for Change programme was created in 2022 to support new charitable causes/community projects and deliver positive impacts.
The Business Culture Awards
The Best CSR/Corporate Sustainability Initiative category was open to companies who had put CSR, Sustainability, or ESG priorities at the heart of how they operate and seen outstanding results. The judges were keen to grasp how Beyondly had enacted this focus on communities, the environment, or both through our Fund for Change programme, and how this has had a direct and positive impact on culture.
In response to our submission entry, the judges praised our ‘fantastic philanthropic initiative’ and commented, ‘Beyondly has embedded its purpose into organisational culture through the Fund for Change, delivering measurable community and environmental impact. The initiative actively involves employees in decision-making, links funding priorities to stakeholder input, and fosters pride and ownership across the business. This purpose-led approach has not only enhanced engagement and recruitment, but has also positioned the organisation for sustained, purpose-driven success.
Beyondly’s Fund for Change is an outstanding CSR initiative, fully aligned with its B Corp ethos and embedded throughout its culture. With robust governance, strong employee involvement, and impressive measurable outcomes across environmental and social impact, it represents best-in-class practice. The scale of financial giving relative to company size, combined with innovative partnerships and community outcomes, make this a sector-leading initiative and a model others can emulate.’
We were delighted to be given a Highly Commended certificate in the Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability category. The Fund for Change programme has had an incredible impact on the culture of the business, the environment, and the charitable causes and projects we support, and it's truly a great example of what a ‘business for good’ can achieve. We hope it will continue to set the benchmark for inspiring impactful, responsible, community-focused action that addresses key environmental, social, and governance issues.

Leading with Purpose for Business Culture
Purpose-led businesses are proven to perform better, with purpose driving growth. A common vision and ambition stems from the central brand purpose, highlighting clearly to employees not only what they need to do but why they are doing it. During times of change and uncertainty, this purpose is strongly anchoring for employees, customers and other stakeholders, fostering a sense of belonging, ownership and responsibility.
Beyondly was also named a finalist in the Leading with Purpose for Business Culture category. The award was open to organisations whose renewed purpose has enabled leaders to more effectively connect with their teams; offered a lens for decision-making and enabled them to learn and adapt during change. The judges noted, ‘Beyondly’s transformation stands out for its coherence. Purpose isn’t treated as a narrative layer but as an organising principle – visible in governance, talent systems, customer experience, and even product architecture. The shift from compliance to consultancy, supported by a strategic rebrand and employee-led design, shows a business reframing its value proposition from the inside out.’
We’re incredibly proud of how far we’ve come since rebranding from Comply Direct in March 2023, bringing renewed passion and commitment to using our business as a force for good and advocating for a more sustainable future, together. Win or not, we’re thrilled for our team and the shared commitment to leading with purpose that earned us a place among the finalists. Congratulations to all of the Business Culture Award winners for 2025!
