Inside The SHE Show North East: A day of collaboration, insight & sustainable change
On Tuesday 24th March, the Beyondly team enjoyed an insightful day exhibiting at The SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) Show North East 2026 at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead.
With a strong emphasis on people, behaviour and culture change, the event brought together a community of leaders and professionals across SHE, Procurement, Facilities, Corporate Social Responsibility, Compliance, and more. It was great to connect with so many like-minded businesses - all united by a shared goal of driving safer, healthier and more sustainable workplaces – and attend a range of insightful and truly inspiring talks throughout the day.
Driving Impact Through Connection: Networking & Collaboration
We kicked things off the evening before, attending the Networking Drinks Reception & Dinner and connecting with peers, building relationships, and exchanging insight ahead of a busy exhibition day.
The following day on the exhibition floor, we were delighted to engage with a wide range of professionals; discussing the challenges SHE professionals are currently facing, sharing solutions, and exploring how we can work together to achieve environmental confidence and measurable impact; whether it be meeting compliance obligations, working towards net zero, or contributing to a circular economy.
A particular highlight was having the chance to catch up with existing Beyondly customers and exploring ways we can expand our partnerships further to drive meaningful impact and collaboration.
Inspiring Speakers & Thought Leadership
The conference delivered a series of impactful talks, aligned to key themes such as sustainability, leadership, resilience, and mental health, and the importance of embedding these into the heart of business operations.
Standout talks include Jo Royle’s powerful and thought-provoking session on Climate Change & Sustainability, sharing her real-world experience and insight into the ocean crisis and the deep interconnection it has with human health and business resilience.
Another highlight included Guy Bloom’s session on Behaviour & Culture Change. Podcast host, Guy, challenged conventional thinking and inspired reflection amongst the audience throughout his session; exploring what it means to take accountability, and what actually drives real, meaningful and sustainable change.
Reflection & Looking Ahead
The SHE Show offers not only the opportunity to showcase our expert solutions and passion for helping others turn business responsibility into positive organisational and environmental impact, but to strengthen relationships, catch up with valued customers face-to-face, and gain fresh perspective and insight from across the SHE community.
We look forward to building on these conversations and growing our connections when we return to The SHE Show in September 2026 for The SHE Show South.
