Beyondly’s Fund for Change Supports a Record Year for Sue Ryder’s Christmas Treecycling
Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice provide expert palliative care and support for people and families living with life-limiting conditions, across Airedale, Wharfedale, Craven, and Bradford.
Up to 8 million Christmas trees are purchased in the UK every year, but many households face challenges when it comes to correct and responsible disposal when the Christmas period comes to an end. That’s why Sue Ryder offer a local Christmas Treecycling collection service following the festive period. The service relies on the amazing work of volunteers in the community, many of whom have benefitted from Sue Ryder’s life-changing support themselves. Christmas trees are collected from households in return for a donation, and taken to be shredded and turned into biofuel, eco fencing, mulch and ground nesting.
Beyondly were the headline sponsor of Sue Ryder Manorland Hospice’s 2025/26 Christmas Treecycling campaign, donating £5,000 towards the initiative as part of their Fund for Change programme. Beyondly’s Fund for Change programme is a commitment to donating 5% of our net profit to charitable causes and community projects delivering positive impact on both the planet and society.
The 2025/26 Christmas Treecycling programme has proved to have a significant impact on the local community and environment, with a record-breaking year saving 3,020 Christmas trees from landfill. The campaign's incredible success has raised over £49,000 for Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice, supporting the vital care they provide for people when they need it most.
Beyondly are proud to support the life-changing work Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice does to support those living with life-limiting illnesses, and to see the impact their Christmas Treecycling campaign has had on both the community and environment.
